Go-Kit List – How to Read It
• County list is aimed at MACs (Mutual Aid Communicators) who have agreed to be ready to go  anywhere in the county.
• County list has many items that may not be needed for a single shift in Los Altos
• Do you need everything listed? - NO!

Go-Kit List – What to Pack
• Pack personal items first
 – Warm clothes, hat, food/snacks, medications, a book to read, glasses, City DSW card, paper money, etc.
• Pack radio gear next
 – HT, antennas (mag mount, J-Pole, etc), adapters, coax cable (25 ft?), extra batteries/power adapters, owner’s manuals, FCC license, etc.

Go-Kit List – What to Pack
• Pack “desirable” items
 – Folding table, antenna mast, even more cable, flashlight/desk light, Thomas Maps, etc.
• Pack more stuff as it makes sense
 – Message forms, packet station, laptop (needs more power), work gloves, first aid kit, duct tape, etc.

• Aim to be 100% self-sufficient for 12 hrs
